Wax & Wane quilted cushion in light sage & ivorylinen

Handmade quilted cushion in a light sage linen with ivory linen patchwork in Wax & Wane design. This abstracted design represents the birth & death cycle of the moon; Someone once taught me that when the moon is curved like the letter 'b' it's a new moon growing to a full moon (or waxing), and when it's a letter 'd' it's waning. I like this visual reminder of the perpetual cycle of the different curves of the moon as it goes through it's regular cycle between new & full moons.
 
This cushion has a plain light sage linen back with slip in opening & feather cushion pad.  
 
Size 40 x 60cm 
 
Materials: linen & cotton. Light Sage 100% washed linen background and back, with Ivory 100% washed linen patchwork details. 100% cotton batting to front of cushion with machine quilting in white cotton. Feather 40 x 60cm cushion pad.
